The trick is not only creating content others want to see, but making it interesting. Your insight here is for the average user, because they just aren't interesting enough. If your content on YT was hitting certain viewing and interaction requirement, it would get boosted. But the opposite gets no boosts and requires people to search your specific content to be seen, which they aren't. It's not the platform, it's your content that fails you. As for Hive, after you take in the earnings and figure out how to cash it out through the many different routes all requiring fees to get it into your bank account, the few pennies aren't aren't worth the effort. Couple that with the lack of audience and it's unlikely Hive is going to be taking off.
