A blend of tradition and taste: Royal paan is a luxury

<div class="text-justify">  The value of paan in Bengali culture is very old. A bowl of sweet paan at any festival, family gathering or friends' gathering seems to really add to the fun. However, recently the era of eating paan with just plain zarda and betel nut has passed. With a wonderful blend of tradition and new flavors, various types of paan have now come to the market. Recently, such a unique and royal paan eating experience was truly memorable.  When I went to the shop, my eyes were first caught by the various arrangements of paan arranged. The fresh and green paan leaves are arranged in a beautiful circle. And the most interesting thing is all their exceptional names and varied servings. There is Badshahi paan which costs 20 taka, Baurani paan 30 taka, Agun paan 50 taka and finally Shahi paan only 10 taka. Each paan is unique in its own place and has a different taste. Not only the paan leaves, but various colorful spices, sweet spices and fragrant chutneys are being used to make these paans delicious and attractive. The fragrant pink, yellow, green and red colored spices and sweet powders beautifully placed in the bowl enhance the taste of the paan many times over. When a craftsman carefully mixes colorful ingredients and spices one after another on the paan leaves before your eyes, the sight is bound to make your tongue water.  Especially the diverse names like ‘Agun Paan’ and ‘Badshahi Paan’ increase the curiosity about paan a lot. The aroma of sweet spices, the fresh taste of paan and the explosion of various ingredients that occurs after putting it in your mouth really gives a strange satisfaction. The difference between ordinary paan and this special paan can be felt immediately. This combination of tradition with modern new ideas is really commendable. For any paan lover, tasting such colorful and tasty paan can be a different and joyful experience.
