RE: I Wouldn't Trust Someone Rated Perfect in Mental Healthcare Readily
by @caparadiso · 2026-10-04
Interesting point, @adamada. A perfect score can hide a doctor who tells everyone what they want to hear, and in psychiatry that can do real harm. Saying "no" to a patient who asks for something that is not good for them is part of the job, even if it costs a bad review.
It reminds me of ratings in general: stars measure how people felt, not whether the care was right. In my own work, hospitality, a happy guest is great, but I would not trade honesty for five stars.
Do you think patients could be asked different questions, so reviews reward good care and not only a pleasant visit?

Punto interessante, @adamada.
