Stories of self-respect on the highway of life

<div class="text-justify">  Hundreds of people gather on the familiar paths of our daily lives every day. Hundreds of stories accumulate every day at some crossroads in the city or village or on the narrow streets of the market. Such a simple but profound picture of life has emerged in a corner of this busy market. The picture shows an elderly man sitting on the side of the road, busy with life. Wearing a white fatwa and cotton lungi, this man's hair and beard have turned white with age. At this late afternoon of his age, when many people should be resting, he is still doing his work with utmost compassion and care. Duck and chicken eggs are beautifully arranged on a tray in front of him. The eggs are arranged quite neatly so that they easily catch the eyes of the buyers. Various fruits such as papaya and bell peppers are scattered nearby. A blue plastic carrot basket and other necessary items are kept next to it, which reflects the ordinary life of the market or road.  The income from his small business may not be much, but it contains an immense mental satisfaction of earning through honest means and hard work. His efforts to earn a living even at his last age without sitting idle and without reaching out to anyone are truly commendable. A kind of calmness and absolute patience are clearly visible on his face. Life may not have given him an easy path, but the way he has accepted life's adversities with a smile is a huge lesson.  Behind this simple scene is the story of the hard struggle of hardworking people. They continue to earn their living by enduring the sun and rain every day or carrying dust on their heads. These small traders on the side of the road are an integral part of our society. Their relentless struggle teaches us that the real joy of living has to be found through hardship. No matter how difficult life is, there can be no greater satisfaction than the self-respect that comes from being self-reliant through honest means.
