It is very annoying to suddenly stop in our mechanical life. Especially if you are traveling by bicycle and get a flat tire in the middle of the road. Just such a moment has been captured on camera in the pictures given below. This small roadside shop may not be grand, but it is home to all kinds of craftsmen who can get your stopped journey back on track in a few minutes.
In the pictures, an experienced mechanic is sitting bent over, intently fixing a bicycle wheel. Perhaps the wheel was punctured or some other mechanical fault occurred. Right next to him is a man wearing a blue T-shirt. He is probably the owner of the bicycle. He is watching the mechanic's work with deep attention, which shows how eager he is to get his bicycle back. Another man wearing a lungi is standing next to him. He may be another employee of the same shop or another waiting customer.

A green van is parked next to them. It is probably used for transporting goods. This van may have also been touched by the skilled hands of this craftsman or is waiting to be touched. The banner of the shop behind it reads ‘Sagar Store’ and ‘Amin Swarna Shilpalaya’ in Bengali. These banners and the small things on the roadside indicate that this is a very common and familiar street scene in our country. These pictures tell a familiar story of our daily lives.
These roadside mechanics are an integral part of our society. It is because of their skill and quick work that we can reach our destination without any hassle. The way they solve all the difficult mechanical problems with just their hands and a few simple tools, without the modern machinery of a big garage, is truly admirable.
Their dedication and honesty teach us that work is not small or big but sincerity is real. These pictures are not just a scene of repairing a bicycle, they are a beautiful symbol of the struggle of our common people and their dependence on each other.
