# Taking Back Control of My Labor
This is the first documentation I am making that commemorates the process of my own soap making micro business. The reason I am starting this is to that I don't have to answer to anyone but myself. To completely own the fruits of my labor and most importantly, as a method to being one step closer to more autonomous life.
I have grown super tired of working for other people only to be let down by empty promises, unfairness, bad work environments, drama, and more. I am tired of the struggle of trying to find jobs, putting in hundreds of applications, the outrageous expectations, the small amount of pay, the ridiculous times I had to deal with liquidation, no vacation time, and much more. And I am sure you are too.
What if I told you, it doesn't have to be this way, nor was it this way for the majority of human History, but only is this way for a very recent time in history that is proving to be a cause that is built to crash and have us as the collateral for such a crash when it occurs? Not IF it occurs, but when.
I'm sure most of you are familiar with the board game Monopoly. You know the end result of that game is losing even if you're down to one player at the end. Because even if you eliminate all the other players into bankruptcy, in the end it's still just you the bank and your willingness to keep playing. And the bank holds all the cards because without other players to pay the banks dues and taxes, you'll be bankrupt too. And that it pretty much what the world is playing right now in real life, where most of your assets belong to the bank automagically, because government says so.
You can't possibly actually believe that this monetary system will come out in anyone elses favor but in the banks instead, but they won't allow that to happen for they will rather have you drafted by force into their own manufactured wars before enough of you figure out you have been conned from the beginning. They will have you eliminated in that way. I pray that you don't participate with all your will in such folly, and spend some time each day instead, [learning how we have been swindled since we entered this world, for thousands of years](https://mega.nz/file/xSx1VKoT#vFJbjcYQ90i8i_01ho5YTjV37l6kAb-5eFukRwqYVG8), and lean towards an autonomous life that is a type of life that is completely useless to control freaks. Be useless to a world that demands your obedience, by being practical, self sufficient, conscience, ethical and standing on the justice and liberties of your fellow country men.
With that said, I continue now with the beginning of today's lecture of practical solutions that takes one step towards world wide financial freedom.

## How much of what we use every day do we actually need to buy?
We have to separate our needs with what we want. For some they are one in the same, but oftentimes they are treated as one in the same and that is unfair your self. For basic survival we need food, shelter, water, cleanliness, clothes, and the tools to acquire and build our protection and the means to defend it.
In this centralized, and institutionalizing
monetary infested society, with big corporate reigning down on the people that should be free, we are met with a serious dilemma of having to acquire, for most of us, money to gain access to the things we need. Why is it serious? Because it is unnecessary and it is designed to only favor the ones at the top who hold all the power, to the ones who designed it.
Everyday our labor is getting less valuable while asset's prices are inflated to ridiculous proportions, and all the while you need to work more and more for the same amount to just get by.
So the natural thing that people will want because of these harsh realities is how to downsize our spending and consumption of goods, while still maintaining our lifestyle as much much as possible. Not just that, but also in a way that is efficient, longer lasting (if possible), less harmful to you, less risky to your wallets, more sanity to your mind body and soul and more. And this brings us back the start of the question above. "How much of what we need today do we really need to buy?"
I can't necessarily answer the exact amount, but I do know that most of what we need can be made at home with less ingredients, and for the most part in the long run, with less spending. Almost everything that will come from my new series, autonomous living, is to build a foundation of skills and practical solutions, that will not only be 1 thing marked off the list of useless spending, but will form the next formula, ingredient or tool, etc for the next project that will help you become more autonomous.
I have seen it. I have experienced it and I have excessively studied it down to a science. Although not everyone and not everything may possible in the moment of our current living situation, but maybe something will and that something will give you more wiggle room to create the next thing. So, what I present in one article may not be for you now, it can be useful later. Likewise, there are plentiful of options available across the web by many volunteers and practitioners who are making this happen for themselves and are sharing those experiences with the world for free.
## Why am I choosing soap?

Necessity, accessibility, and opportunity.
Soap is something people use regularly for such a large variety of reasons. It isn't a luxury that people can easily stop buying when money gets tight. That makes it a practical trade to start building off on and also for documentation.
Personally, I would prefer people learn to make their own things to the point where we can just start making everything for free and voluntarily whilst also teaching each other how to fish to those who want to learn. At least for the necessities of every day living.
My vision is that one day the world will recognize all of Earth's resources as an equal right to have access to. Rather than this control system we have now. For more on such a philosophy I recommend studying into "*Jacque Fresco's Venus Project*", but the idea is simple to follow and doesn't require anything that resembles rule by force as its foundational principle, not directly or indirectly.
I also chose soap because it's a great example of why people often pay a brand to combine ingredients, package them, and sell them back to us at a markup. Learning to do that ourselves gives us more control over what we spend and what we produce. It's also because it has such a low barrier entry to mass produce, sell and make profit since we're currently stuck with this monetary system for now. It's also something that is so easy to do even a kid could make it with adult supervision of course, because soap is dangerous to make but as long as you respect the chemicals involved and the safety procedures, you should be fine. Not that I recommend children to do it, I'm just saying it's easy enough for them to do it. Which wouldn't be a bad idea to teach them either way as learning new skills and discipline will help them later on in life.
