You’re right, and actually, that’s not quite right. In fact, most Asian countries share a similar issue. The fact of the matter is that marriage isn’t the problem. About 85–90% of people want to get married and settle down; the issue is that getting married is no longer easy, and the pressure to get married is something that drives people away from marriage. If two individuals are ready to start a family, they shouldn’t have to spend millions to do so. And if someone isn’t ready for marriage, society and the people around them shouldn’t pressure them.
