ATM Machine Receipt Printer Troubleshooting and Successful Solution.

<div class="text-justify">  The joy and challenge of technical work are always different. Recently, I had a wonderful experience during the maintenance work of an ATM booth. While conducting regular monitoring of an ATM machine, it was found that the receipt printer there was not working properly. The receipt printer of the ATM machine is a very important part in banking services, because this receipt print is needed to confirm the transaction information of the customers.  Although the problem seemed quite complicated at first, I slowly started observing the entire system. After testing the software or internal mechanism of the printer, it was understood that the problem was in the data cable or connection line. The previous connection was not working for some reason. To permanently solve this problem, I decided to connect a new USB line directly from the ATM machine's motherboard to the receipt printer.  When the machine was restarted after connecting the new USB cable, the printer became active immediately. Then, with a test print, it was seen that the receipt was printing very clearly and correctly. The feeling of successfully completing the task by eliminating technical complications was truly extraordinary. Just as there is an opportunity to learn something behind every task, successful solutions bring a kind of job satisfaction. Being able to solve a complex technical error with your own skills is always a joy and inspiring. When the receiving slip came out properly at the end of the task, it felt like the whole day's hard work had been worthwhile. This was my arrangement for today.
